Our Story

ModernSchedule Project Planning & Scheduling, LLC was founded in February of 2022 by Celisse Charles and Isaias Espinoza. Celisse and Isaias met while studying for their engineering degrees at Texas Tech University in 2014. They’re now married and live in Fort Worth, Texas with their two dogs and two cats.

Meet our Team

Our team was founded by two engineers with a diverse background of experience. Their experiences led them down the path to opening ModernSchedule. Learn more about them below.

  • Founder. Engineer.

    Celisse graduated from Texas Tech University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics. After graduation, she was hired as a mechanical designer for an MEP firm in San Antonio, Texas. During this time, she earned her Engineer-In-Training certification. She later started as a quality engineer for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas at the plant in San Antonio, Texas. She transferred to Toyota Motor North America headquarters in Plano, TX and is currently a senior quality engineer.

    She’s a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

 
  • Founder. Engineer.

    Isaias Espinoza graduated from Odessa College in 2010 with an Associate of Applied Science in drafting technology. He then worked as a draftsman for Landgraf, Crutcher & Associates. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a minor in mathematics. Isaias started as a project engineer at PLW Waterworks. In 2020, Isaias started as a senior project engineer at Alterman, Inc.

    Isaias has over 7 years of experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry. He has performed as a project engineer, project manager and scheduler throughout his career. Isaias specializes in CPM construction scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 software to develop master baseline schedules that will be used for tracking a project’s progress. This includes schedule updating, master integrated schedule development, cost-loading, resource loading and reporting. With a civil engineering background, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in various engineering sectors that are beneficial to the water/wastewater industry.

    He is a member of the Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
